Déjà vu 2016

Based on a recurring abstract memory of repetition the aptly named Déjà vu and Déjà vécu are essentially the same work in different manifestations. Déjà vu translates literally from the French as "already seen” and implies a false sense of familiarity while Déjà vécu translates as "already lived” and implies a false sense of recollection. Both pieces feature imagery from Future Memories and text from Trace which will cause familiarity and recollection when viewed in sequence.​
